24th Triathlon Audencia
17 SEP 2011 - LA BAULE, FRA - Alistair Brownlee races down the finish straight to cross the line first just ahead of team mate and brother Jonathan Brownlee during the final round of the French Grand Prix Series triathlon in La Baule, France. The Brownlee's EC Sartrouville team retained the title after winning every round of the 5 race series which is based on a team format with points awarded for the finish position of each of the first three team members .(PHOTO (C) NIGEL FARROW)
Alistair Brownlee wins the final round of the French Grand Prix Series triathlons in La Baule, France just ahead of team mate and brother Jonathan Brownlee with Maik Petzold the teams third finisher in 12th. The Brownlee’s EC Sartrouville team retained the title after winning every round of the 5 race series which is based on a team format with points awarded for the finish position of each of the first three team members.
In the women’s race Svenja Bazlen’s win helped to give Tri Club Chateauroux 36 second place on the day but overall race winners Poissy Triathlon also took the women’s title.
